Brimstone Butterfly was formed in an old slaughterhouse in Aarhus, Denmark and had right of both ambition and urge to create their own unique sound. The first album “Gonepteryx Rhamni” was released in 2001 and the single “Superwanker” made number 1 on the MTV Up North Chart. In 2005 Brimstone Butterfly released “Normality Killed The Cat” in Denmark, USA, Canada, England and Germany.
